Town Hall and Restaurant Staff

Middlesbrough Council is giving its backing to local restaurants with a brand new campaign through Middlesbrough Town Hall. Seven restaurants have been selected to take part and have all created an exclusive deal that is being offered to Town Hall patrons.

The aim of the offers is to help draw more custom into Linthorpe Road and the town centre. Each restaurant has tailored an offer to specific events that take place at Middlesbrough’s largest venue, the Town Hall.

Restaurants taking part are La Pharmacie (Corporation Road), Sassari (Linthorpe Road), Joe Rigatonis (Linthorpe Road), Eliano's Italian Brassiere (Fairbridge Street), Capaldis (Linthorpe Road), Al Fornos (Southfield Road) and Akbars (Linthorpe Road).

Middlesbrough Town Centre Manager Karen Shields said:

“We know that we have some great restaurants in Middlesbrough and the great variety of entertainment in Middlesbrough Town Hall draws a huge and diverse audience, so it makes perfect sense to link the two together.

“These offers mean they can enjoy a bite to eat in one of our top class restaurants before or after a enjoying a performance at the Town Hall.”

Middlesbrough Town Hall Business Development Manager Laura Hannaway added: “We are really pleased to join up with some of the restaurants in town to bring our audience members and people visiting Middlesbrough a more enticing offer.

“The vouchers and tickets are packaged up in a new wallet which gives visitors a greater knowledge of the Town and the venue making it easier for them to take advantage of all Middlesbrough has to offer.”

Offers are only open to those who pre-book their tickets through Middlesbrough Town Hall Box Office. Terms and conditions apply. For more information go to www.visitmiddlesbrough.com or call 01642 729729.
