Middlesbrough Volunteering Star Awards 2011 logo

Middlesbrough Volunteering Star Awards will be held for the second time this year. The awards will recognise and celebrate volunteering, and this year the organising team has expanded to include Middlesbrough Voluntary Development Agency, Teesside University, Middlesbrough Council, Middlesbrough BME Network, Community Voice FM and West Middlesbrough Neighbourhood Trust.

Volunteers make a tremendous difference to our community. They bring not only their time, but also their energy, skills, individual perspectives and talents, thereby enhancing our communities, our local services and peoples lives. This Volunteering Star Awards is an opportunity to thank some of the exceptional individual volunteers and local volunteer involving organisations for the difference they make to the lives of others.

Anyone can make a nomination, but if you are an organisation nominating individual volunteers can you please restrict nominations to a maximum of three people in each category. Nomination forms, guidance notes and criteria for each category to help you to complete the nomination forms are available in the links below.
