Be one of the first to demo the new Sony Tablet.

The Sony Centre in Captain Cook Square Middlesbrough, launches the new Sony Tablet this Friday. Gadget lovers however can get a sneak preview in store now. The Sony Tablet is only available in limited stores across the UK and Middlesbrough is one of only 4 stores in the North East to see them right now.

Prices start from £399.99 with a choice of specifications. The Sony Tablet is the first PlayStation Certified Tablet on the market, which means you can play your favourite PlayStation games plus it also includes a unique 2-year guarantee when bought in store. As well as this, you can also use your Sony Tablet as a remote control for all your home entertainment systems, thanks to its built-in infrared technology.

Benefits to business and leisure users include email on the move, presentation compatible software, android office applications, and useful features such as calendar, calculator, notes and memos section.

More features the customer can look forward to are the LCD colour touch screen, a camera front and back, the ability to play music and videos, store photographs, browse the web and download books and magazines to read.

Andrew Gibbs, manager of the Sony Centre Captain Cook Square says: “This is an excellent new product for Sony that includes unique features and puts it in a fantastic position in the current market. Stock is limited so it is a case of first come first served. It will be all hands on deck when the stock arrives on Friday 16th September as we are expecting an immediate sell out.”

Designed with the customer in mind, the Sony Tablet is built with a slight angle on the back. Andrew added: “This enables the Sony Tablet to sit comfortably in the customers hand. Also when used on a flat surface for typing, it is raised slightly to make typing more efficient ensuring the customer does not have to lean over the screen to type.”

From Saturday 10th September you can go into the Sony Centre Captain Cook Square and have a go on the demonstration, which is available in store only. If you decide you want a Sony Tablet you can pre-order in store to ensure you are one of the first to own this new gadget when the stock is released. Stocks are limited so don’t miss out be the first to visit the Sony Centre.
