Raymond & Mr Timpkins Review

Middlesbrough comedy fans have a fantastic weekend coming up – with two great nights guaranteed to bring on the giggles.

Middlesbrough’s Big Mouth Comedy Club welcomes new comedy sensations the Raymond & Mr Timpkins Review then top Canadian comic Tom Stade plays Middlesbrough Town Hall Crypt as part of his smash hit debut national tour.

Raymond & Mr Timpkins Review, Dave Hadingham & Matt Reed (MC) play the Big Mouth Comedy Club, Middlesbrough Town Hall Crypt on Saturday 1 October:

They have been described as easily the best double act to emerge for years.

Likened to early day Morecambe and Wise and the Two Ronnies, anyone who can bring the house down with nothing more than a couple of Lidl carrier bags and an Oasis song have to be seen to be believed.

“Absolutely hilarious.” VIZ

“Spectacularly funny.” Time Out.

“A mad, anarchic triumph of stupidity over style. Not to be missed.” The Guardian.

Top support comes from gravel voiced ranter Dave Hadingham, described by The Guardian’s comedy bigwigs as a ‘raving comedy genius.’

Huge Big Mouth favourite Matt Reed is MC and, as an added bonus, Geordie charmer Carl Hutchinson joins the line-up.

The laughs continue into Sunday 2 October, when top Canadian comic Tom Stade plays Middlesbrough Town Hall Crypt as part of his smash hit debut tour extended by huge public demand.

Tom’s magnetic stage presence, irrepressible charm and first-class storytelling have seen him described by The Scotsman’s comedy bigwigs as ‘so cool he could well be the answer to global warming!’

Hotly tipped as the next big comedy name, Tom’s already known to millions after a storming appearance on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, and he also made plenty of waves as co-star and co-writer of Frankie Boyle’s Tramadol nights on Channel 4.

But it’s live where Tom has gained a glowing name as one of the best comics on the global circuit.

He’s headlined everywhere from New York to Johannesburg, performed at comedy festivals around the world, and entertained the troops in Afghanistan, Iraq and the Falklands.

Now, hot on the heels of a sell-out run at this summer’s Edinburgh Festival, his Boro show looks set to be one of the best of the year so far.
