Rock Your Mind festival logo

Three of Middlesbrough's Music venues are getting ready to rock on Sunday as free music festival Rock Your Mind returns for it's second year. It's back, bigger and better than ever this Sunday October 9th.

The festival is a free event aimed at raising awareness of mental health, specifically focusing on psychosis in 16-35 year olds.

Rock Your Mind will be held over four stages this year, at three of the best live music venues in town.

The Westgarth Social Club will play home to two stages. The upstairs stage will be headlined by local Indie legends Jimmy and the Sounds, who will be joined by the likes of Randy and the Handstand Band, Temujin and Tusk. Downstairs will be headlined by none other than Tom Hingley, an ex-member of the band 'Inspiral Carpets', and accompanying him on that stage will be RJ Thompson, The Broken Broadcast and Samantha Durnan.

Are you into your Rock music? Second stage at Libertys in Town is the stage for you. The main acts on this stage are Diamonds in the Dirt, Sailors and Saints, Frozen Rope and Lennox.

And finally, a venue that is new to Rock Your Mind, The Legion Live Lounge hosts stage number 4. This stage is being organised by 'Joint Effort Promotions' and will feature the likes of Abi Alton, The Port Authority and Bare Phut.
