A stunning programme of dance events will take place in Middlesbrough Town Hall on Sunday March 6 at 6pm.
Moving Middlesbrough 3 Dance Festival, which is co-ordinated by Youth Dance Middlesbrough, part of the Healthy towns initiative, will feature urban and street dance, as well as some special performances by and for children and adults alike.
Youth Dance Middlesbrough Coordinator Sandra Chapman said: “Moving Middlesbrough is a vibrant stage show of urban dance styles which is guaranteed to get everyone dancing!
“The Festival has also invited some wonderful local artists to showcase work for the Festival - Dance Factory North East, Urban Kaos and new up-and-coming all girl street dance group Misfit Dance, winners of the North East High School Street Dance Championships in May 2010.”
Also performing will be Ruff Diamond from Hartlepool. The evening will be a fundraising event for tfm Radio’s Cash For Kids charity and will be presented by Wayne from tfm’s breakfast show.
Sandra Chapman added: “The Festival should be a magical experience for children and adults alike. We’re hoping for lots of spectators and to raise lots of money for this worthwhile charity!”
