London Community Gospel Choir

The London Community Gospel Choir bring Christmas cheer to Middlesbrough.

The world renowned London Community Gospel Choir are heading to Middlesbrough Town Hall, in association with The Christian Centre, on Wednesday 21 December for a night of Christmas cheer with real soul!

Britain’s first concert gospel choir will be performing a range of Christmas classics in their own unique style, and are guaranteed to get you in the perfect mood for the festive season.

Renowned for their funky gospel flair, swing-beat, RnB traditional and soulful arrangements, invigorating choreography and vocal gymnastics, this dynamic group have one of the most impressive resumés in music.

From performing at Glastonbury to featuring on the soundtrack for films The Lion King, Fighting Temptations and Love Actually, the choir have also performed with artists such as James Brown, Madonna, Sir Elton John, Luther Vandross, Sir Paul McCartney, Diana Ross, Lionel Ritchie, Tina Turner, Blur and Mariah Carey…to name but a few!

Trying to fit LCGC into a neat slot is virtually impossible.They are adaptable, flexible and create dynamic melodies with rich harmonies whether they are performing as an octet or a 30-strong choir.

The Main Hall can accommodate up to 10 wheelchairs and the Crypt up to 6 wheelchairs. One free ticket is available for each companion. Please inform the Box Office at time of booking. Please note that the lifts will only hold 330 pounds. Please bear this in mind if you are the owner of a heavy wheelchair.
