Pat Monahan (Show me the Funny) with ice scraper and mug

Frozen windscreen? Look no further than the lovemiddlesbrough campaign for a ‘handy’ solution.

So far we’ve avoided the arctic temperatures, snow and ice of the last two winters.

But the weather forecasters say a major snow-fall and plummeting temperatures are still a real possibility.

They’re predicting a cold snap over the coming week, and as ever motorists are being advised to make sure they’re well prepared for the hazardous driving conditions.

So for those who didn’t get one as a stocking filler this Christmas, now is the ideal time to snap up a lovemiddlesbrough glove ice-scraper.

Lisa Templeman, who works on the campaign, said: “The lovemiddlesbrough ice scraper is the perfect item for people who want to stay warm and show their love for their home town while scraping the ice and off their cars.”

The ice scrapers are £2.50 each and are available from the Town Hall Box Office and Information Centre, mima and Gallery TS1 in Corporation Road.

More lovemiddlesbrough merchandise, including mugs, air fresheners and badges, is also on sale.
