Jo Hand - Managing Director

Since moving to commercial premises in Middlesbrough female entrepreneur Jo Hand says business is flying.  Managing Director Jo Hand and founder of Jo Hand Recruitment, moved into the high street location little over one year ago to meet the growing demand for the company services’.

Previously located on Albert Road, Jo Hand Recruitment’s relocation to an office with a shop window has afforded the business with a greater presence in the town.  As well, the change of address has been seen as a welcomed move by Middlesbrough Council – ever keen to support the business community in its efforts to regenerate the town’s older office stock.

Commenting at the time of the move Middlesbrough Deputy Mayor Cllr Dave Budd said: “This expansion into a new branch office speaks volumes about the growing confidence businesses have in investing in Middlesbrough.  That is particularly significant in these tough economic times, and is a clear indication that strong businesses can still flourish and prosper.

On track to turn over in excess of 13million pounds this year Jo Hand, Managing Director said:  " We have seen significant growth in our customer base and level of interest in our recruitment services," said " Our customers are expanding their commitment to ensuring the reliability and performance of their own staff, and with that commitment they are expanding their use of Jo Hand Recruitment.  The Middlesbrough office has allowed us to deliver superior sales and support to our customers and to the growing prospect base in the region."
