Sarah O’Brien receiving her prize from Mick Callaghan of the Active Middlesbrough business development team.

A year’s free health and fitness training and advice are the fabulous prize for a lucky Middlesbrough competition winner.

Sarah O’Brien picked up an all-inclusive X4 Health and Fitness Club membership, a fitness goody bag and a Wellness Key when she won the on-line competition run by Middlesbrough Council and Real Radio.

Sarah, from Whinney Banks, will have unlimited access to X4 Health and Fitness Clubs at Active Middlesbrough’s sport and leisure venues, free public swimming, fitness classes and use of all of Active Middlesbrough’s saunas and steam rooms.

Her new Wellness Key will act as her personal trainer, supporting her training, monitoring her progress and providing motivational activities.

Sarah said: “It’s absolutely brilliant!

“I am going to use the gym and pool at the Rainbow Leisure Centre and I can’t wait to start using my Wellness Key.”

Mick Callaghan, of the Active Middlesbrough business development team, said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming Sarah and her mum, who is also looking to take out a X4 membership so they can go together.

“This is great timing as the X4 health and fitness club at the Rainbow Leisure Centre has recently been extended and refurbished, and over the next few weeks the pool changing village refurbishment will be completed.”
