Colin Fisher opens newly refurbished Coulby Farm Sizzling Pub

Middlesbrough resident, Colin Fisher, has been honoured when he was invited to officially reopen the Coulby Farm Sizzling Pub & Grill on Thursday 9th February.

Colin, who is a regular visitor to The Coulby Farm, had his loyalty celebrated when given the privilege of pouring the first pint at the pub’s relaunch. The Teeside local has also organised and assisted on numerous charity events at the Coulby Farm over the years, with his and the pub’s joint efforts raising thousands of pounds for charity.

Located on Stokesley Road, the new look Coulby Farm resumed serving locals and guests after it was refreshed as a Sizzling Pub and Grill following an extensive three-week refurbishment. The Coulby Farm reopened with a new look and updated menu, all in line with the pub’s values of ‘Sizzling Good Value Everyday’.

Speaking about Colin’s charity work and the pub’s new look, general manager, Stephen Tilley, said: “When we were discussing the pub reopening, we decided we’d really like to give back to someone in the local community, someone who’s supported us over the years and we found that in Colin Fisher.

“Colin visits us regularly and has been incredibly faithful. It was brilliant that we were able to let him pull the first pint, and officially reopen the Coulby Farm Pub & Grill. His charity efforts are phenomenal and he is truly an integral part of our community.

“The pub has been given a fantastic new look, great products and an updated menu, incorporating pub favourites from the UK and around the world. We’re also thrilled to have been able to give back to our loyal regulars as well as the people of Middlesbrough, providing them with a fantastic pub where they can always enjoy a warm welcome and great value food and drink.”

Following the refurbishment, the Coulby Farm will continue to look to support the local community with a calendar of fundraising initiatives throughout the year.

For early birds out there the pub now opens its doors at 9am serving breakfast where guests can enjoy all of their favourite morning choices, every day until 12 noon.
