Robin Hood cast

A panto is for life not just for Christmas!

Anton Benson Productions are heading to Middlesbrough Theatre with their Easter Pantomime Robin Hood on Sunday, April 16.

Pop Idol’s Gareth Gates stars in the title role as Robin Hood, protecting Sherwood Forest from The Bill’s Graham Cole OBE in his villainous role of the Sheriff of Nottingham. Rainbow’s Zippy and George feature as the Merry Men.

Completing the cast is Ryan Greaves as comic ‘Wally’ Scarlett, Phylip Harries as Dame Dolly, Keeley Fitzgerald as the Forest Fairy and Eva McKenna as Maid Marian.

Juvenile dancers will be provided by local performing arts schools, all accompanied by fantastic live musicians.

Wally Scarlett lives in the Castle with his mother Dame Dolly and his friend Maid Marian. Wally has always dreamed of joining Robin Hood and his gang of outlaws.

As Robin fights to stop the dastardly Sheriff of Nottingham in his plot to become the richest man alive, will Wally rise to the challenge?

And why is the mysterious Forest Fairy so keen to help? Will mayhem ensue or will Robin save the day and win the hand of his fair Maid Marian?

All will be revealed in this laugh a minute, all-singing, all-dancing rollercoaster ride through pantoland!

Bring the whole family along for panto fun and frolics as Robin Hood and his Merry Men battle to outwit the dastardly Sheriff of Nottingham.

Tickets are £16, £14 Concessions and £54 for a Family Ticket and are available from the box office on 01642 81 51 81 or visit www.middlesbroughtheatre.co.uk
