tell us what you think of love middlesbrough magazine and win £250 voucher

Readers are being asked to help shape their civic magazine – with a chance to win a £250 shopping voucher.

The first edition of lovemiddlesbrough magazine rolled off the printing presses in the autumn of 2014, offering residents across the town a unique mix of news, features, interviews and useful information.

Over the last three years the magazine – delivered free to more than 60,000 homes across the town every quarter - has played a key role as Middlesbrough cements it place as the city heart of the Tees Valley.

Readers have been kept up to date with the latest developments in the town’s ambitious regeneration programme, alongside in-depth interviews with the people who help to make Middlesbrough such a special place to live, work and do business.

The magazine is a goldmine of information and advice on subjects ranging from healthy living to sporting activity, and features contributions the Council’s partners in the public and private sectors who play such a vital role in the life of the town.

Middlesbrough Council Chief Executive Tony Parkinson said: “From the outset our aim was to produce an informative, entertaining and above all useful publication that would tell Middlesbrough’s story, delivered to every household in the borough.

“It’s been very well received and we know people like it, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for improvement.

“First and foremost, the magazine belongs to its readers – and we want to make sure it’s giving them the news, information and insight they want.

“That’s why we’re inviting all those of who receive it to take part in a comprehensive survey to find out what they like, what they don’t like and what they’d like to see more of.”

The survey is open to the end of January, and as an incentive to take part, one lucky entrant will win a £250 M&S voucher to help drive away those post-Christmas blues.

• To take part in the survey, visit www.middlesbrough.gov.uk/survey

The survey will remain open until midnight on Wednesday, January 31. One lucky winner will be chosen from those completing the questionnaire to receive a £250 Marks & Spencer voucher to help send those post-Christmas blues packing.
