Give your garden birds a helping hand this winter by joining the events this half-term.
On Monday 13th & 20th February you can make some yummy treats to hang in your garden for the birds and then make or decorate them a new home on Tuesday 14th & 21st February.
If you would like to build a nest box then please book a place on 01642 328904 or if you would like to just decorate a bird’s home then just drop in.
Do you like crafts? If yes then on Wednesday 15th & 22nd February you can get creative with some bird themed crafts, which includes making a bird thaumatrophe.
Please note that an admission ticket to the house and garden is needed for each event with an additional small charge for materials.
Ormesby Hall is open 11am – 4pm with each event running from 1pm – 3pm in the Victorian kitchen.

The Pennyman family's intimate mansion is an attractive rural mansion and gardens on the edge of Middlesbrough. The simple Palladian façade masks exquisite interior decoration, paintings and furnishing. The old service wing houses the Victorian Kitchen and Laundry, which on selected dates brings to life the roles of Ormesby's servants with costumed volunteers.
There is a large permanent model railway exhibition in the Old Wing with three different layouts including Thomas the Tank Engine.

2016 season is from Sunday March 6th - Tuesday November 1st. Open every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday 10-5pm, last entry 4.30pm.
